Last month we saw the release of Monster Hunter Rise on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, but players on these platforms still have to wait a few months to see its expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch and Steam players just got the free fourth Title Update for the expansion, with new challenges and rewards.

At the moment Capcom has only said that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will arrive on Xbox and PlayStation consoles in the spring of 2023, so we still have to wait until the next quarter for its launch. The game is expected to come to the new platforms with all its content, so it would arrive with the content of the free title update number 4.

Starting today you can download a monstrous new update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, which is already a huge bestseller for Capcom. This update brings new enemies, anomaly quests, event quests, and new paid DLC. A few days ago Capcom released a new trailer showcasing all the content coming to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak with today’s free update.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Free Title Update 4 adds two new monsters, Velkhana and Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax. Velkhana is an Elder Dragon that debuted in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and is capable of forming huge pillars of ice as he fights, so be careful not to get frozen. As for Elevated Crimson Vasltrax, the elevated Elder Dragon requires a Master Rank 160 for his matchup.

Not everyone will be able to face Elevated Crimson Valstrax, but whoever does will get very valuable materials, which are used to make new weapons and armor with unique abilities. If you’re playing Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak on Nintendo Switch or Steam, take the opportunity to download its latest free title update and check out its new content.
