The balance of the first four-month period of 2023 was released this Thursday after a recent seizure of eight weapons and more than 100 ammunition, where 17 people were arrested, added to 14 from the previous week.

On the other hand, in the week of April 16 to 24, 32,588 people and vehicles were identified, there were 256 apprehensions and 44 cars recovered and seized from the corralón, details the part of the Ministry of Security.

The operations carried out by Regional Unit II are carried out in 38 areas and have 170 mobiles between Public Order personnel, the Motorized Brigade and the Urban Order Brigade.

The Urban Order Brigade (BOU) for its part, is divided into 35 pairs, 25 of which tour the neighborhoods and 10 are permanent.

Also, implemented tours with tactical operations groups of other regional ones on Rondeau, Alberdi, 27 de Febrero, Uriburu, San Martín avenues and Oroño and Seguí boulevards, the statement said.

Finally, the Regional Unit II is also working from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., in 24 preventive corridors for taxis and buses that deepen the patrol where the public service most requires it, they pointed out from the province.
