Maurice and Mélodie’s first babies were born in Moselle. It’s a couple of storks that is making the buzz on social networks.
AT Sarralbe (Moselle)4,500 inhabitants, it all started the day we installed a webcam on the roof of the town hall, just above the nest of a couple of storks, filmed day and night. So very quickly, Mélodie and Maurice, the happy parents, became stars of social networks. With each new egg-laying, the public becomes passionate about the births. It is thanks to a passionate ornithologist that the storks of Sarralbe have become famous.
60,000 connections per day
Dominique Klein finds it hard to realize that her webcam idea is such a success. “We are followed all over the world”says the founder of “Tele-Cigognes Sarralbe“. Peaks with 60,000 connections per day, especially when the chicks are starting to come out of their shells. For now, they are still only four at the bottom of the nest. The last two eggs should hatch by the end of the weekend.
