MYPEGASUS Ltd

Reutlingen

Since April 2018, the non-profit MYPEGASUS Foundation has been the sole shareholder of the MYPEGASUS Group. This ensures that the focus is on high quality of care and job security for transfer participants and employees. In particular, the MYPEGASUS Foundation promotes measures to integrate disadvantaged people into the training and labor market.

In addition to the existing funding project INT2JOB Düsseldorf, which aimed at the linguistic, social and professional integration of refugees and people with migration backgrounds, further projects were funded by the foundation:

Departure at Arrenberg eV

The Arrenberg is a residential area in the Bergisch Wuppertal. The association of the same name “Aufbruch am Arrenberg eV” was founded in 2008 by several entrepreneurs active in the district. Intent and objective is to take social responsibility for the community. A programming workshop for children from low-income families was organized with the support of the MYPEGASUS Foundation.

Start with a friend eV

Start with a friend is an association from Berlin that puts new immigrants in touch with locals in the form of a tandem partner. Almost every successful integration story begins with a dedicated mentor. Friendships provide strength and support. Indispensable for the individual – but also for the cohesion of a society.

The current funding project for 2022 is the association Zeltschule eV:

Tent School eV

tent school e. V. is a non-profit association from Munich that supports refugees by running improvised schools in tents for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon and Syria. The tent schools consist of a wooden framework that is anchored to the ground. Several layers of recycled tarpaulin are wrapped around it. In the tent school there are tables, benches and a blackboard. There are currently 30 schools in Lebanon and Syria. The individual schools have between 100 and 500 children. Volunteer Syrian teachers, who are also on the run and live in the camps, take over the lessons. Five subjects are taught: Arabic, mathematics, English, natural sciences and music. The basis of the teaching is the Syrian curriculum. This is to prepare the children for a return to their homeland.

All funding projects are selected by the Board of Trustees of the MYPEGASUS Foundation. A reason for joy for the Chairman of the Foundation Council, Herbert Hansel. “We are happy and grateful that we can make a modest humanitarian contribution to the disadvantaged,” says Herbert Hansel. “Foundations are an expression of responsible, civic engagement. They support the social, public-interest-oriented actions of the state,” continued the Chairman of the Foundation Council.
