The works represent for the Ministry of Public Works of the Nation an investment close to $4.2 billion, with a term of execution of two years. From the 7th Santa Fe National Highway District, it is planned in the month of May to begin with the first interventions of cutting grass and patching traffic.

The contracted work will include deformation milling tasks, deep patching, with resurfacing by sections and underpinning of shoulders, on the 176 kilometers benefited from the improvements. Likewise, urban crossings will be intervened, especially in areas with deformations due to stopping and starting at traffic light crossings. During the two years of the contract, drainage and road area cleaning works will be carried out, including weeding and grass cutting, vertical signage and the replacement of metal railings. It should be noted that in addition to RN 11, the conservation of National Route No. A009 (Puerto Reconquista access from RN 11) was included in the signed contract.

On the other hand, regarding the investments of the National Highway in National Route No. 11, it is worth remembering that yesterday a Recovery and Maintenance contract was tendered (CReMa) with a six-year term for the Santa Fe – Gobernador Crespo section, a price check in which three offers were submitted to be analyzed by the agency. At the same time, for the same Route 11 but between Rosario and Santa Fe, progress is being made with the final processing for the signing of the contract also for works similar to those confirmed for the sector between Gobernador Crespo and Avellaneda, under a period of two years of work. It is worth clarifying that until the beginning of the works by contract, the RN 11 is maintained in its passable conditions with personnel and equipment of the National Highway.

Finally, from National Highway it is reiterated that for the Avellaneda – Resistencia stretch Last month, the first conservation actions for grass cutting and passability patching began, with a six-year works program that will soon increase the volume of jobs with resurfacing by sections in the Santa Fe territory.
