Last January 4 Nationwide protests resumed in various parts of the country, especially in southern Peru. These manifestations have been felt with greater force in regions such as Cusco, Puno, Arequipa and others, causing the blockade of roads, the closure of bridges and excesses, seriously harming the population, especially commerce.
Given this and to find out “live” which are the areas that are being blocked by the protesters, the Superintendency of Land Transportation of People, Cargo and Merchandise (Sutran), provided a tool for citizens to have free access to this information and know where to drive without jeopardizing their integrity.

The steps to follow are very easy and you only need any technological device that has internet and that’s it.
* Step 1: enter https://gis.sutran.gob.pe/alerta_sutran/
* Step 2: locate the region for which you want to know its current situation
* Step 3: click on the floating buttons. There you will see the indications of the information provided.
The interactive map is updated with information from the Highway Police, as well as from the road concessionaires and Sutran inspectors.
Sutran has a WhatsApp telephone number available to citizens to make complaints or also provide information on the situation of the roads. It also has for this purpose the free line 0800 12345.
In addition, the institution reminded citizens to review or consult the interactive map that is accessible to find out the state of the roads before making a trip because the update is permanent.
