Natti Natasha explores extreme feelings in Nasty Singles

Natasha said that she likes to eat rice with beans and potato salad at New Year’s Eve celebrations and, unlike her success with Becky G Without Pajamas, the Dominican star likes to be well wrapped up in sleeping clothes.

Nasty Singles, he stated, was created in the last year and a half in which he has gone through an up and down of emotions that has made him mature a lot.

Acquiring a lot of wisdom, a lot of knowledge, he noted in an interview via video call from Miami. I have had to learn a lot.

These experiences are reflected in Nasty Singles. In English nasty means dangerous, violent, bad and unpleasant, but for Natasha it is extreme and she says that she has an alter ego called Nasty Nat.

In my world, it is the extreme of a feeling of every human being, he pointed out.

With the release of the album on Thursday night, Natasha presented the single Ya no te extrao, which talks about a celebration of leaving behind a toxic relationship, whether romantic, friendship or even family.

The song has two versions, one more urban-pop with mariachi trumpets and another more danceable cumbia version.

The song says tell me now why are you looking for me or why do you miss me now if I was always there and you never valued me, Natasha pointed out. Now I’m enjoying life, drinking Tasha, tequila and rum.

Tasha, Natasha said, is their brand of rosé sparkling wine produced in Bordeaux, France. It sounds similar to tacha, which in Mexican slang is used to define a type of synthetic drug.

“We are within the law,” Natasha said, clarifying what she was referring to.

When he started composing the song about 2 years ago it was called I miss you, but he decided to change the lyrics to prove the opposite.

I have been working on that song for two years, said Natasha, who composed the lyrics together with Marcos A. Ramírez. The song is produced by Los Legendarios, Daddy Yankee and Raphy Pina.

In the video Natasha appears in a stable with horses and wears a cowgirl hat and blouse.

You are going to see an empowered, sexy, outstanding Natti. They are going to feel a feeling of liberation and I think that is what all women feel when we can get out of that toxic relationship, when we finally find ourselves and feel more beautiful.

For those who feel sad or sentimental, I recommended listening to Your Tattoo, those who are still in the process of leaving a relationship behind can also listen to Another Caption, and those who want to feel sexier I suggested listening to Your Dog.

Kokorota, the song that begins the album, is a song dedicated to women.

A woman who empowers herself, who overcomes herself, who believes in herself, who has faith and who grows, no matter what happens around her, is a kokorota, Natasha said.

I am sure that we are all our best version every day, no matter what. All the situations we have around us, no matter how big or small, make us bigger.

And I feel like that’s very important for all women right now. I am a kokorota because the public makes me a kokorota, because they have supported me all this time and give me the strength to continue every day no matter what and I feel that every woman is a kokorota.

The album has six newly released songs, also including ndale, and others that the public has already had the opportunity to enjoy such as Lokita with María Becerra, No pare (Remix) with Tokischa, Wow BB with El Alfa and Chimbala or Mayor que tú with Daddy Yankee and Wisin & Yandel, the latter a kind of response to the classic Greater than I, part 2 by Wisin & Yandel.

These are songs that not only make me an artist of the moment, I have set myself the goal of being an artist forever, Natasha highlighted.

For her purposes in 2024, Natasha would like to continue growing inside and outside of music.

I feel like I have a lot to do, I feel new, I feel like I haven’t touched all the points I need to touch, I feel like there are collaborations out there that I haven’t done yet and I feel like there are hearts that I can still reach, she said. I would also like to act, it is something I would love.
