Furthermore, Jennifer Lopez appears as a military-trained assassin in The Mother. And if you need even more action, Blood & Gold shows deserted Wehrmacht soldiers fighting Nazis.
Queen Charlotte, the new Bridgerton prequel, which starts on May 4th, should be a little quieter. The streaming world is just as excited about Queen Cleopatra, a combination of drama series and documentary, for which Jada Pinkett Smith in particular is currently being criticized for possible “blackwashing”.
Apart from that, the Netflix comedy Hammerharte Jungs will start in May as a sequel to Harte Jungs as well as Knallharte Jungs and anime fans will at least get their money’s worth with the third season of Ultraman. Last but not least, the streaming service is recording time-exclusive licensed titles such as Bill & Ted Save the Universe with Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, The Kangaroo Chronicles and A Quiet Place with Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.
