Ant-Man and The Wasp return to cinemas on February 17! Discover now the trailer of the film and everything you need to know about it in this article.

It’s official: the 3rd film in the Ant-Man franchise, “Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania”, will hit theaters on February 17. And to make you wait, Marvel has already released a first trailer.

We discover the daughter of Scott Lang, the civil name of Ant-Man, who has grown up well since the last films and apparently a bad manipulation of the latter which leads him to meet someone whom we have known since the series on Loki: Kang the Conqueror. The latter will make him an offer that is difficult to refuse: to dislocate the time streams to allow Scott to return to the past and spend more time with his daughter. A proposal that will turn against him and lead to what appears to be a fight of titans between the two men.

Ant-Man 3: what should you know before watching the film?

With this 3rd installment, the Ant-Man franchise is gaining height and is no longer content to offer comic entertainment between two important films for the MCU (Marvel Cinecmatic Universe). “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” indeed marks the grandiloquent start of phase 5 of the MCU. Say goodbye to the Infinity Stones and Thanos to discover the Multiverse, already featured in the latest Spider-man and Dr. Strange, as well as in the Loki series.

Before going to see the film, we can only advise you to watch (again if you have already done so) the latter. Disney+ not only introduced the notion of the multiverse with the Loki series several months ago, but it also introduces us to the famous Kang the Conqueror, described by the director of the film himself (Peyton Reed) as “the one of the most powerful villains in Marvel history…”.

To see and review also: the previous installments of the Ant-Man franchise, if only to familiarize yourself again with all the characters. The last film “Ant-Man and the Wasp” dates back to 2018, 5 years ago.

In the cast of this new film, we find the regulars, namely Evangeline Lilly in the role of Hope van Dyne (the Wasp), Paul Rudd in the role of Scott Lang, Michelle Pfeiffer in the role of Janet Van Dyne, Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and of course Michael Douglas as Henry Pym.

We discover in parallel the young Kathryn Newton in the role of Cassie Lang, Jonathan Majors in the role of Kang the Conqueror or William Jackson Harper, known in particular for his role of Chidi Anagonye in the series The Good Place, in the still mysterious role of Quaz. Another nice surprise in the casting: Bill Murray in the role of Lord Krylar.
