There are now four separate offerings that each include different options and features. In France, prices have risen a lot in recent years unlike other countries where Netflix prices have dropped significantly.

? What are the prices of the different Netflix subscriptions?
There are now four different packages as follows:
- Netflix Essential with ads : €5.99/month
- Netflix Essential : €8.99/month
- NetflixStandard : €13.49/month
- NetflixPremium : €17.99/month
Netflix Essential with ads
This is the latest offer out of the hat of the platform. As its name suggests, the Netflix Essential package with advertising includes… advertising, hence its attractive price of €5.99 per month. This offer allows you to view your content in standard definition (720p) on a single screen at a time. Advertisements are broadcast at the start of the program and during viewing at a rate of 4 to 5 minutes per hour. They last between 15 and 30 seconds.
Other concessions must also be made. Some movies and series are not available on Netflix Essential with ads due to licensing restrictions. In addition, it is impossible to download content to watch it in offline mode.
Netflix Essential
This is the cheapest ad-free plan available today. Netflix Essential costs 8.99 euros per month. For this price, you only have the service on one screen at a time. Content is broadcast in HD (720p) on your various devices (smartphone, PC, tablet, TV). This offer will be perfect for users who live alone.
NetflixStandard
This package is offered at the price of 13.49 euros per month. It allows you to benefit from an increased quality compared to the Essential offer, the programs being broadcast in Full HD (1090p). What’s more, you can watch your content on two screens simultaneously. The offer will be perfectly suited to roommates and couples wishing to watch programs in their own corner.
NetflixPremium
This is the most expensive offer dedicated to large families. Invoiced 17.99 euros per month, it allows you to enjoy the catalog on four screens simultaneously. All in Ultra HD (4K) and HDR quality if you have compatible devices. Recently, Netflix Premium is the only subscription that includes spatial audio.
???? Is it possible to share your Netflix account?
For many years, many users have taken advantage of the platform using the identifiers of a loved one. A practice which obviously causes the red N to lose a lot of money. So much so that Netflix decided to crack down on account sharing. Already in force in some countries such as Spain, the new policy will be imposed in France in a few weeks.
Specifically, Netflix will detect when a device uses an account outside of its primary household and initiate a verification process to exclude squatters. It will be possible to add an additional member to your Netflix account for an additional fee.
However, we do not yet know the amount for France (5.99 euros per month in Spain). Note that additional members will not have the same rights (one device at a time, only one profile, no child profile).

?️ Does Netflix offer a trial period?
In the past, the platform offered a 30-day trial period for new users. But this has disappeared since 2020. Now, new subscribers have seven days to request a refund if they are not satisfied with the service. As a reminder, the subscription is non-binding. It is possible to unsubscribe from Netflix very easily with just a few clicks.

How to subscribe to Netflix with Free?
The subscription to Netflix Essential is notably included in the subscription Freebox Delta which costs 39.99 euros per month the first year (then 49.99 euros). The Netflix Essential option costs €8.99/month with Freeboox Pop and Freebox Revolution, the same price as if you subscribe to the SVOD service in the traditional way. To register :
- Log in to your subscriber area.
- Find the section dedicated to the platform in the section Television > Netflix.
- Push the button I enjoy Netflix then let yourself be guided.
- To register, you can also launch the application from your Freebox interface.
- It is also possible to access it by pressing the netflix button on your remote control or by going to the chain 130.
How to subscribe to Netflix with Bouygues Telecom?
Whether with the Box must or the Bbox ultym, you can add the Netflix option to your subscription when you sign up or along the way. It will cost you 8.99 euros for the Essential package, the same price as if you subscribe via the more traditional channel. To register :
- Press the TV button on the remote > TV Subscriptions > Netflix.
- It is also possible to go through your customer area, section My options and services > TV packages > netflix.
- Alternatively, start the process from the channel 89.
How to subscribe to Netflix with Orange?
At Orange, you can take out a Netflix subscription at the same price. But there is an interesting offer if you also want to take advantage of the OCS catalog. Opt for the pack and you will save 2 euros per month:
- Pack OCS + Netflix Standard : 22.49€/month
- Pack OCS + Netflix Premium : 26.99€/month
Significantly, you currently have six months free of Netflix Standard if you opt for the Livebox Up or the Livebox Max. To subscribe to Netflix with your Orange account, here is the procedure to follow:
- Go to channel 66 of your TV then activate the subscription. Its cost will be added to your monthly bill.
- Alternatively, press the button Menu of your remote control.
- In the section Video on demandgo to the section Video pass > netflix
- You can also go through the store on the Orange site.
- Go to the section TV and entertainment > TV packages > netflix.
How to subscribe to Netflix with SFR?
SFR currently offers several good deals if you want to combine Netflix with another bouquet:
- Netflix Standard + SFR Entertainment + : €13.49/month instead of €23.49
- Netflix Standard + SFR Cinema : €17/month instead of €23.49
- Netflix Standard + Deezer Premium : €22/month instead of €24.48
- Netflix Standard + RMC Sport : €24/month instead of €28.49.
Alternatively, it is possible to subscribe to a Netflix formula at the same price as usual. To register :
- From your customer area, find the section Options then go to TV channels and services > Cinema & Series.
- Click onr Netflix then start the procedure.
- You can also register from channel 66 or via the home page of your TV decoder.
