Chelsea FC officials are already planning for the winter transfer market. As ‘The Athletic’ reports, the Blues want to sign a central defender with a strong left foot and are interested in three Bundesliga players.
According to the usually well-informed sports website, the names Evan N’Dicka (23/Eintracht Frankfurt), Piero Hincapié (20/Bayer Leverkusen) and Josko Gvardiol (20/RB Leipzig) are on the Chelsea list. The Londoners had already agreed with the latter in the summer, but could not come to an agreement with his club. After a strong World Cup, the demand from Leipzig has increased again.
Hincapié is still tied to Leverkusen until 2026 and is a regular there. Consequently, the young Ecuadorian could also cost a handsome fee. It’s different with N’Dicka, whose contract in Frankfurt expires in the summer.
Favorite Badiashile
According to the report, Chelsea’s current favorite is a player who does not play in the Bundesliga: Benoît Badiashile from AS Monaco. There is no agreement yet, but it could follow in the coming weeks. ‘The Athletic’ mentions 35 million euros as a potential fee.
