Naughty Dog has officially unveiled one new bit of concept art from its upcoming The Last of Us multiplayer game.
The picture, which you can see at the top of the article, shows two figures outside a gigantic and very dilapidated cruise ship. The developer did not reveal exactly where we are or who is depicted.
This is the second image from The Last of Us multiplayer that Naughty Dog has shown off. The first came last summer, apparently hinting that the game would take place in San Francisco.

We know from earlier that the game will explore different areas than those we have seen in The Last of Us series’ first two games. Here, a new story will be told, with new characters to get to know. New details were not revealed this time, but the developer promises to share more information during 2023.
In other The Last of Us news, Naughty Dog CEO Neil Druckmann has hinted at the possibility of another game. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter Druckmann wouldn’t officially comment on rumors of a potential Part III, but he also wouldn’t rule anything out in the future.
– I think we still have more history to tell, said Druckmann.
The next item on The Last of Us calendar will be the premiere of the TV series based on the games. The first season will arrive on HBO Max on January 16, and will pick up on the action from the first game.
The plan is also ready for a continuation, but Druckmann is clear that the series will only deal with existing games. The team will thus not fall into the same trap as Game of Thrones, where the TV series began to tell stories that author George RR Martin had not yet written.
– We have no plans to tell stories outside of adaptations of the games. We’re not going to run into the same problem as Game of Thrones, because Part II doesn’t end in a “cliffhanger,” Druckmann said.
