Through Provision 214/23 and Law 17,671, the printing of a new ID they just have to update it Malvinas ex-combatants.
This new update of the National Identity Document seeks to honor all those who fought in the war to dispute the sovereignty of the Malvinas Islands.
The design was in charge of the National Registry of Persons (ReNaPer), an entity under the Ministry of the Interior. In addition, They will print the documents to those who have generated a previous request through a mandatory accreditation.

What will the design of the new DNI be like?
On this occasion, the ReNaPer will decorate those who were in the war with an insignia on their National Identity Document.
It will appear above the right side and with an important size to highlight it. The main logo contains the word “ex-combatant” next to a map of the Malvinas and laurels.

“Determine that the National Identity Documents for ex-combatants of the war in the Malvinas Islands, issued prior to the issuance of this measure, will remain fully valid until their expiration date or until a new copy is issued,” explains the Provision.
In the document it indicates what the DNI will contain: “Those people who accredit the quality of ex-combatant of the war of the Malvinas Islandswill carry the following emblem on their DNI: ‘EX-FIGHTER, HEROINE OF THE WAR OF THE MALVINES ISLANDS’, ‘EX-FIGHTER, HERO OF THE WAR OF THE MALVINES ISLANDS'”.
How to process the new ID
The National Registry of Persons allows access to the creation of the new document in two ways:
1.Within 24 hours
It can be done from Monday to Friday in one of the five centers that ReNaPer has and you must take a prior appointment from the Mi Argentina app.
After the shift has been confirmed, the person must go to any of the centers along with the proof of the appointment and the previous ID.
When the update of the document has been confirmed, it can be withdrawn within 24 business hours at the same office.

2. Expressly
As in the previous form, you will have to make an appointment through the app and pay the procedure at the Renaper Documentation Center.
From 48 or 96 business hours after completing the procedure, the mail will deliver the DNI to the consigned address.
