Johnny Depp appears there in the costume of Louis XV alongside Maïwenn, director and main actress. Jeanne du Barry was the favorite of Louis XV, who ruled France from 1715 until his death in 1774. She herself died at the guillotine. The three photos of the film relayed by First represent in turn the two characters entwined and facing each other in front of the court of Versailles. The last image is a portrait of Johnny Depp in his royal costume.
