While the 14th season of “Die Bergretter” is still running on ZDF, six new episodes are already being created on the Dachstein. There’s a new face in them.

Dramatic exit: After Markus Kofler and Georg, who also crashed, were rescued in the first episode of the 14th season of “Die Bergretter”, any help came too late for police officer Jessika Pollath. Although her body has not yet been found, her actress Maxi Warwel has left the series to “break new ground”.

Jessi’s death has not only turned Simon’s life upside down, her colleague Gert Holzer also finds it difficult to get used to the thought that Jessi is no longer there. At least when it comes to police work, he will no longer be on his own in the new season.

The mountain rescuers: Viktoria Ngotsé as the new chief commissioner

In the new season, which will be filmed until mid-September, Alexandra Winkler is a new chief inspector coming to Ramsau. She is played by Viktoria Ngotsé. According to her agency’s website, “she’s still hoping that one day James Cameron will call her for the second part of Avatar.” Unfortunately, her wish didn’t come true, but she now has a job with the successful mountain rescuers.

Not her only role in successful formats, at GZSZ she was allowed to turn John’s (Felix von Jascheroff) head as Claudia Diaz. She was also seen in the RTL sister series “Everything that counts”.

Ngotsé played in Til Schweiger’s film “The Wedding” as well as in the Prime series “The Beileeper”. She was last seen in the RTL series “Balko Tenerife: Double is better”. The 33-year-old will not be seen as a police officer in Ramsau until autumn 2023 at the earliest. Then the 15th season “Die Bergretter” will start on ZDF.

“Die Bergretter” runs on Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF and one week in advance in the media library.
