With an atmospherically staged video, the creators of New World want to demonstrate that the online role-playing game from Amazon Games is aimed at many different types of gamers. Because the world of Aeternum should not only be intended for typical MMO fans, but also for other types of players. The approach as a PvP-heavy MMORPG from the early concept phases is completely dropped.
Who is New World for? That’s what Amazon says
In the video “What is New World (buy now )?”, Amazon clarifies that the game is aimed at the following types of players, among others:
- Explorer: Aeternum is a picturesque world that lures with special locations and treasures.
- Warrior: If you are looking for fights against demanding monsters, you come and can rely on various tools of war.
- Wizard: If you prefer arcane, there are wands, focus items, and the new Heart Gems from the Brimstone Sands update, which let you use iconic boss abilities yourself.
- troops (in the English trailer “Squads”): In the PvP area, both mass battles for areas and arena fights awaited you.
- single player: On the other hand, if you prefer to proceed as in a single-player title, you can also experience New World in peace without other players.
- Artist: Thanks to musical instruments, you can let off steam like Guitar Hero and even unlock group buffs and collect tips.
- Hunter: If you fish fish and kill the fauna of Aeternum, this activity brings you valuable resources, which in turn are useful in crafting.
- Handyman: A number of professions for processing and crafting special equipment are open to you.
