Lifting of the ban from 23:00 to 01:00 – but please in moderation
In principle, the use of F2 pyrotechnics (rockets, batteries, firecrackers) is prohibited in the local area. The Fussach community board has decided to lift this ban on New Year’s Eve – but only from Dec. 31, 11:00 p.m. to Jan. 1, 01:00 a.m. But the principle of protecting health, safety and excessive noise, for which every fireworker is responsible, also applies within this time window.
In particular, sufficient distances (at least 100m) to stables, livestock, gas stations and the church in Fussach must be maintained.
The police are likely to be overwhelmed again this year.
But anyone who feels disturbed or even endangered by fireworks can display wg. Violation of the Pyrotechnics Act at the BH Bregenz, possibly also against the Animal Welfare Act.
