The preparation stage for Newell’s was not the best in terms of results. This Saturday, one week after the debut in the Professional League, Lepra fell 2-1 to Sarmiento de Junín at the Jorge Bernardo Griffa property in Bella Vista in a preseason friendly.
The goals for Verde were from Manuel Mónaco and Luciano Gondou, both players from the Lower Divisions, while Marcos Portillo scored for Lepra.
