Shots fired at an apartment building in Husby

Several people contacted the police after they heard loud bangs in a residential area in central Husby around 00:15 on Tuesday night.

At the scene, the police found bullet holes in a house facade and a window pane, and also left empty shell casings.

According to press spokesperson Ola Österling at the Stockholm Police, it is unclear exactly which residence the shots were fired at.

– Now we are making a survey of who lives in the property, but we will not make public what we find in that inventory. However, we know that on almost all occasions there is a connection to criminal activity in cases where properties are shot at, he says.

Two people were arrested during the night on suspicion of involvement in the incident.
