On December 15th, nine karatekas from the Samurai Karate Club Bludenz successfully passed their 8th Kyu (yellow belt) exam.

Before the Samurai Karate Club Bludenz said goodbye to the winter break, the exams for the 8th Kyu were still on the program in mid-December. Under the strict eyes of the two examiners, the young karatekas showed what they had learned over the past few weeks and months. They were supported by numerous parents, friends and relatives, who followed the exams spellbound.

First, Kihon (primary school) was tested, then the karatekas had to show the Kata Heian Shodan and finally apply the techniques they had learned in Kumite (partner exercise). Despite great nervousness, everyone showed excellent performance and in the end could celebrate a new Kyu grade.

Congratulations to our karatekas Eren, Hans, Julia, Leo, Leonhard, Louis, Marjam, Romy and Zacharia on passing the exam. Well done, your trainers are proud of you!
