A 39-year-old man was admitted to hospital early Saturday morning after receiving seven stab wounds during a New Year’s Eve party in Cenon in Gironde. The result of a dispute over the sentimental life of his companion. Four people were taken into custody.
It’s not the first New Year’s Eve – or the first family event – to go wrong, but the scandal has this time taken on a particularly dramatic scale. This Christmas Saturday, police and firefighters had to travel to a residence in Cenon, in Gironde, to put an end to the very violent dispute which had torn the guests apart and take charge of the victim. The latter, a 39-year-old man, was repeatedly stabbed in the leg by his partner’s sister.
South West, who reported the matterrevealed that the injured individual had been hospitalized, the seriousness of the injuries having even threatened his vital prognosis at first before the alert was lifted.
Ten days of total work stoppage
On the other hand, he was notified of ten days of total interruption of work. The newspaper further states that four people – two men and two women, whose ages range from 21 to 49 – were arrested and placed in police custody. The procedure was extended on Monday.
The insults then the blows
The origin of the scandal revealed here by France Bleu, is atypical to say the least. The dispute stems neither from political differences nor from an old family dispute. It broke out following the unkind judgments expressed by each and every one – in this case, the parents, an uncle, a brother, a sister – about the sentimental life of one of the daughters of the family. .
The detractors have mainly attacked his romantic choices. This criticism of these various boyfriends has extended to the current holder of the position: their guest therefore. This one did not really taste the situation and of course got angry. The insults rang out, then the blows.
So the offended companion lit the first wick at the same time as his stepfather, punching him in the face. It was then that his wife’s sister stabbed him seven times in the leg.
The case still seems very tangled and the investigation opened by justice must dissipate these mists. Initially placed under sedation, the victim could not be heard immediately. His statement was to be taken on Monday.
