While April 2023’s Fast RMX is still available until May 4, 2023, the publisher has a little surprise for Zelda fans. To celebrate the upcoming release of Tears of the Kingdom, one of the saga’s spin-offs is also playable for free as part of the NSO’s “Games on Trial” program. A perfect little appetizer before the arrival of the next big Nintendo Switch exclusive.

However, you will have to complete the main story to discover this additional chapter, which is largely doable during the free trial, the main quest ending in 6 hours. Count two short hours more to do the extras.

Cadence of Hyrule therefore takes all the rhythmic mechanics of Crypt of the NecroDancer and its roguelike elements by adding all the salt of The Legend of Zelda. Save Hyrule from a tragic fate as the king is plunged into a deep slumber by a menace wishing to spread a musical cacophony over the entire kingdom. Explore dungeons and a randomly generated world and visit iconic locations from the Zelda series and meet familiar faces along the way.
