Florian Silbereisen is in high demand all year round. Nevertheless, the hit star also makes himself comfortable during the festive season. Like many others, he has his own unique Christmas traditions.

Passau – Big hit shows with an audience of millions and drama performances on the “Traumschiff” – Florian Silbereisen’s (41) appointment calendar is really impressive in the pre-Christmas period. Like many of his colleagues, the pop star does not take his feet off the gas during the quiet time and presents one project after the other. After all, there is a lot to do as a celebrity between Christmas albums and festive TV productions.

Florian Silbereisen can also show off his moderator expertise in the snowy season. On December 2, he invited prominent guests such as jazz trumpeter Till Brönner to his annual “Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights”. For show host Flori, the TV event is always a personal highlight in the run-up to the festival: “Most of the time, a few snowflakes fall in good time. We light candles and sing the most beautiful Christmas carols. It’s always very atmospheric,” reveals the pop singer bild.de.

With all the stress of the previous weeks, a big hit star also wants to switch off – and devote himself fully to his own Christmas traditions. Things are not that relaxed in the Silbereisen house when preparing for Christmas Eve. “Christmas Eve starts a bit more stressfully because I don’t get all the presents until the morning in record time,” admits Flori, “But after that it’s all the quieter, completely stress-free.” Buying last-minute presents – who doesn’t know it?

Christmas: The Story of the Most Beautiful Holiday

Today almost everyone associates Christmas with presents, Christmas trees, tinsel and Santa Claus. The history of the most contemplative of all festivals is made up of many different cultural aspects. For one, it is based on the birth of Jesus Christ, which has been celebrated on December 25 for centuries and was a celebratory event as far back as ancient Rome. On the other hand, Celtic and northern European customs such as the Yule festival, which focus on extravagant feasts, were also adopted. Today’s understanding of Christmas, like decorating a tree and hanging up colorful decorations, comes mainly from England and Germany.
