The family and NRK confirm the death of The daily newspaper.

Næss held a number of positions at NRK, including as head of comedy, and before that worked with radio programs such as “Humorcompagniet”, “Reiseradioen” and “Nitimen”.

In an interview with VG, in connection with her being hired as head of humour, Næs answered the following to the question of what qualifications one should have in the position:

– It helps to look positively on life. I myself look forward to going to work every day. I think I must have the best job in the world. I have also always laughed a lot, which I think also helps a lot in a job like this.

The family says to Dagbladet that Næss was someone who was really passionate about his profession, and loved his job at NRK.

Radio presenter Finn Bjelke (63) tells the newspaper that Næss will be greatly missed.

– Vivi was the lady with the big heart and a firm belief in the good in all people.

Bjelke further praises Næss for her work in the program “20 questions”, and says that she was both fluent in her language, educated and a good listener.

– I am happy to be able to say that Vivi was the best colleague I could have had and most importantly: a good friend. I will miss our conversations, says Bjelke.
