At CES 2023, Lenovo lifted the veil on a brand new laptop with both an Oled screen on the front, but also an e-Ink screen on the back. All with the latest generation of Intel processors.
Lenovo is a key player in each edition of the Consumer Electronics Show, held every year in Las Vegas. CES 2023 is no exception to the rule and sees the Chinese manufacturer present a whole range of new products. Among them, a certain ThinkBook Plus Twist, which takes up the idea of the ThinkBook Plus Gen 2 presented at CES 2020.
This laptop is equipped with two screens: an Oled panel at the front, 13.3 inches and a definition of 2.8K and an e-Ink screen at the back with a diagonal of 12 inches, accompanied by front lighting and a refresh rate of 12 Hz. Both screens are also touch-sensitive.
Each screen has its type of use
Here, Lenovo wants to offer a hybrid and versatile device, capable of meeting several uses. On the one hand, the Oled screen can ensure professional tasks, the consumption of content for a better visual experience and more demanding uses requiring a more successful screen.

On the other, the e-Ink screen can be used to take notes, read, draw, rest your eyes or even consume less energy. In short: depending on your uses, you should favor one rather than the other, or vice versa. Note that a rotating hinge allows you to adjust the horizontal inclination of the screen.
State-of-the-art processor
To add a dose of convenience to your experience, a stylus is supported for both screens. Lenovo indicates a battery life of 18 months. Other improvements have also been made to this new laptop, starting with the presence of a 13th generation Intel Core processor – this new range for laptop was also introduced during this CES.
The rest of the sheet includes the following elements:

- Dual microphone with intelligent ambient noise cancellation;
- Wi-Fi compatibility, Bluetooth 5.2;
- RAM: 16GB LPDDR5X;

Price and release date
The ThinkBook Plus Twist will be available in the United States from June 2023 for $1,699. The brand does not specify whether Europe will be affected by this launch.
