With the OM-5, the manufacturer OM System is launching a successor to the Olympus OM-D E-M5 series after renaming it. And unfortunately, in many places where there were no or only marginal changes, you notice that it is a successor that is primarily intended to implement the new brand. This is shown by a test by our colleagues from Value Tech TV.
This can be seen, for example, when looking at the hardware, where you will find an outdated micro-USB port. this is hardly acceptable today, even in the entry-level class. And the autofocus is also missing a lot that you can now find in cheaper cameras from other brands. But if you are just looking for a camera without frills and with good image quality, you can definitely take a look at the product.
