One dead and one injured after shots fired by Chavista groups

CARACAS.– One man was killed and another was injured in Táchira state as a result of gunshots fired by pro-government groups that intimidated citizens outside polling stations nationwide.

The incident occurred in the town of Patiecitos, municipality of Guásimos, in the Andean state. Neighbors who witnessed the incident said that Chavista motorcyclists were in the area shooting and shouting slogans in favor of the dictatorship.

For its part, the NGO PROVEA, denounced through its social networks the presence of paramilitary groups sympathetic to the Nicolás Maduro regime. “In each of the voting centers located on Av.
