One person was killed and three others were injured after being struck by a vehicle inside a car dealership Wednesday morning in Mission Hills.

The incident occurred around 9:00 am, at a Toyota vehicle dealership located in the 11000 block of Sepulveda Bulevar, reported the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD).

Authorities placed yellow police tape in front of the dealership’s service areas. A video showed broken glass on the floor inside one of the service areas.

According to the LAFD, one of the victims was briefly trapped under the vehicle and is in serious condition. Another sustained head injuries and the remainder suffered unspecified “minor” injuries.

The vehicle that hit people was driven by a client. The car entered the service area that was closed at the time, according to information provided by the LAFD.

The car stopped near a customer reception area and struck two dealership employees and two customers.

One of the victims was near the door and was briefly trapped under the vehicle before being freed by other customers who were there. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition, where she later died.

The driver of the car did not want to be taken to a hospital and stayed at the scene to collaborate in the investigation initiated by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
