One person was injured by a gunshot after an incident that occurred at noon this Monday in northwest Miami, according to police.
Shortly before noon, officers responded to calls about gunshots in the area of 11th Avenue and 51st Street in northwest Miami, in an area known as Model City.
The images from Telemundo 51 showed a large mobilization of police in the area.
Upon arrival, it was determined that at least one individual transported themselves to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where police made contact with the person shot, who was alert and stable.
The police opened an investigation into this incident and the circumstances in which the shots were fired.
