A man barricaded himself in a Worcester home after shooting two family members, wounding them and also shooting at officers, police said.
Worcester police urged the public to stay off the street Friday morning due to an ongoing police investigation.
The nature of the investigation, on or near Colby Avenue, was not immediately clear: Police did not provide those details, saying only in a statement that there was “a heavy police presence.”
“Further information will be released as it becomes available,” they said in the statement.
