Juarez City.- On this day, the first calls for the university access scholarships offered by the Municipality through the Municipal Youth Institute were announced, it was reported in a statement.

The call that was opened is for the Tecnológico Nacional de México, Technological Institute of Ciudad Juárez campus (TecNM-ITCJ).

Raúl Fajardo Zaldívar, head of the agency, reported that these scholarships are for young people who are just entering the first semester of higher education, who from yesterday, Monday, May 8 and until May 24, must pre-register on the www page. .juarez.gob.mx

Later, from May 25 to 27, the documents will be received at the university headquarters, from 8:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon and from 4:00 to 7:00 in the afternoon.

The requirements to apply for the scholarship are the following:

– Be between 17 and 29 years old

– There will be an online pre-registration that you must fill out

– Have Mexican nationality and be a resident of Ciudad Juárez

– Have graduated from a high school in the city

– Birth certificate, Unique Population Registry Code (CURP) and the identification of the National Electoral Institute (INE)

– Proof of address

– Demonstrate financial need

Those selected to receive the scholarship will be announced on June 1st and will be able to pick it up at the same university venue.

At the TecNM-ITCJ, 242 scholarships of 2,900 pesos each will be awarded, which represents a total value of 701,000 pesos.

The institutions participating in this support program are the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), the Technological University of Ciudad Juárez (UTCJ), the National Pedagogical University of the State of Chihuahua (UPNECH), the Paso del Norte Technological University (UTPN) , the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH) and the National Technology of Mexico campus Technological Institute of Ciudad Juárez.
