Several changes are planned with regard to the flight schedule to and from Oran airport. The airport announced on Thursday January 19, 2023 that flights from several airlines will be transferred. The airport services management establishment specifies that the airlines concerned are: Air Algérie, Volotea, Transavia, Air France, Tunisair, Turkish Airlines, TUIfly, Vueling and ASL Airlines.

International flights will therefore be from the new international terminal in Oran Ahmed Ben Bella, terminal 1 (T1). You should know that this transfer will be put in place from Saturday January 21, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.. No additional information relating to the duration of these changes has been communicated.

Oran airport: transfer of domestic flights

According to the same source, domestic flights will also be transferred to the former international terminal in Oran. Thus, the airlines concerned are Air Algérie and Tassili Airlines. Oran airport adds that flights to El Omra are also affected by this change, as of Sunday January 22, 2023.
You should therefore know that the marquee will be closed from Saturday at midnight. This initiative was taken with the aim “to offer better service to passengers”.

The national airline Air Algérie, comes through a press release published on January 20, 2023 directly on its official Facebook page to confirm the news. In the said publication, Air Algérie affirms “all of its domestic flights to and from Oran at Terminal 2, the former International terminal instead of the marquee, from January 22, 2023”.
