Overwatch 2 Season 2 is in full swing and players are getting used to the new content, like the new Shambali map. One Echo player seems to feel very much at home on this one already, using the map’s structure and skills to push the cart further.
Just won inconspicuously
While the remaining four team members are engaged in a fight with the opponents, Echo flies over a wall to the Booster Map’s carriage. The player tries not to show himself as much as possible. Nevertheless, the opposing Moira has spotted him and sends off her damage ball.
Echo uses her flying ability again to disappear behind another wall. However, the player does not go back to his team, but patiently waits for a new opportunity. A few seconds later, all is quiet and Echo ventures out of hiding.
Manage cookie settings
The opponents are clueless, as they thought they had chased Echo away. But she comfortably pushes the car further towards the destination. The player stands directly in front of the car and lets himself be pushed by it. This looks pretty casual, but it’s also the best place to hide from the enemy team’s eyes – as long as they don’t run out of the base.

With the objective only a short distance to go, Echo manages to get the win. As in my article on Kiriko, who won the game with a similar tactic, this play should show that you as a team must always focus on the goal of the map and keep an eye on it.
So Aaron Keller was right. In our exclusive interview, the Overwatch 2 game director said that attacking side players will find ways to cope with the increase and the new possibilities of the Shambali card. This Echo player has taken advantage of opponents’ inattentiveness as well as his ability to fly to triumph on the new map.
