ovi is opening this week with a song that has surprised his fans a lot, since he completely left his comfort zone towards the regional Mexican genre.
“Mientras no vuelves” is a musical collaboration with Colombian rapper Blessd and American singer Danny Lux.
On his Instagram profile, the Cuban reggaeton singer promoted the song with a preview of the video clip: “‘While you don’t come back’ now available.”
Given the comments of his followers, the singer asked them who they would like to hear a remix of the song with.
In the video Ovi was even accompanied by mariachis and his look, like that of Blessd and Danny Lux, with shirts, jackets, hats and boots gave him that Mexican air that the song has.
Less than a day after its premiere, the song, in which the three artists brought out their most romantic side, already had 436,000 views on YouTube.
“I broke your heart for no reason, for no reason / The only good thing about this is this song / A professional breaking feelings / I have no choice but to fill this void with temptation / Looking for a cure for the pain I have”, says the lyrics of the chorus.
