Audio content is popular, and no wonder. While listening to audio books, podcasts and the like, you have your hands and eyes free. This allows you to make tedious tasks such as ironing or time wasters such as the after-work traffic jam much more interesting.
The hurdles to recording audio content yourself are extremely low: A computer without high performance requirements, a cheap microphone, free software, a little practice – that’s all it takes to record audio books and convert text into speech content, for example.
