Now she’s telling her story – all by herself!
Baywatch legend Pamela Anderson (55) takes a year after the hot drama series “ Pam & Tommy‘ took her past into her own hands from someone else’s pen. She wrote her memoirs: “Love, Pamela” – and without any ghostwriters …
“I’m a little scared before it comes out. It was basically a year of therapy, going through my life from my first memory to my last,” Anderson told People“.
Anderson: “I’m really proud of it. I wrote every word of it myself. I didn’t have a collaborator. I didn’t have a ghostwriter, nothing.”
And what is it about? The actress: “It’s just the story of a girl – how I made it: a small town girl who goes to Los Angeles and has all the wild and crazy adventures that I have had, only to come back and go home. “
The process of reflection triggered many emotions. “I had no idea how much anger I carried inside and how therapeutic it would be not only for me but also for the people around me like my mother”
She continued: “It was a healing process. I’m so glad to be able to share it with others and I hope it inspires people.”
Ultimately, by the way, it was her sons Brandon (26) and Dylan (25) who “encouraged me to tell my story.”
“My boys were excited that I wrote my own book, but they both said, ‘Mom, you need help writing this book.’ And I said, ‘No, I can write the book myself.’ They were shocked that I managed to do that.”
The book will be published in Germany on January 31st.
