Pami announced a new payment of $10,000 for more than 1,000,000 of its affiliates as part of the Food Program carried out by this social work for retirees and pensioners.
“The social work universalized this benefit for all people over 80 years of age who receive up to one and a half credits, who will receive the amount automatically with the payment of their retirement without the need to do any paperwork,” reported Pami through of a statement.
The new payment of the Food Program corresponding to the months of May, June and July will be made effective the first days of this month, and from the PAMI it was reported that “the amount varies according to the modality and geographical area of the affiliate “.
“The measure -recorded the social work led by Luana Volnovich- makes it possible to contribute with food reinforcement that protects the most vulnerable and values the efforts of the almost 4,000 retirement centers that for decades have brought PAMI’s socio-preventive policies closer to their communities”.
The Food Program was implemented to replace the bags of food that were distributed through centers for retirees and pensioners that had to remain closed as a preventive measure against the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is an initiative launched by this measure since the start of the pandemic based on the financing obtained in 2019 from the implementation of the PAIS Tax, which taxed certain operations in foreign currency to derive its collection from social promotion policies.
