CDMX.- The national leadership of the National Action Party (PAN) will reactivate the former presidential candidate of the PAN, Ricardo Anaya.

In a statement, the PAN leadership announced a work tour of party leaders in the United States, headed by national president Marko Cortés, in which Anaya will participate.

PAN leader Marko Cortés will inaugurate the first “Blue Committee for Migrant Action” in Dallas, Texas, with the aim of linking the party with the Mexican migrant community.

“This Sunday and tomorrow Monday, the national head of the PAN will also hold meetings with representatives of various migrant organizations, businessmen and various leaders to promote dialogue and exchange of experiences, in order to build a network of reflection and action that seeks to support the migrant and their families who continue to live in Mexico.

“At these meetings, the leader of Acción Nacional will be accompanied by former presidential candidate Ricardo Anaya, the first migrant deputy from Mexico City, Raúl Torres Guerrero, Senator Gina Cruz President of the Mexico North America Commission and the president of the National Coordination of State Offices for Attention to Migrants (Conofam), Juan Hernández,” the party announced in a statement.

On behalf of the National Executive Committee of the PAN, the coordinator of Attention to Migrants, Oswaldo Contreras, the Secretary of Elections, Armando Tejeda, the Secretary of Political Promotion of Women, Laura Esquivel Torres, the Secretary of Communication, Felipe González Castañeda and the Director of Digital Action, Karen Lomelí.

The first PAN leader to create structure in the American Union was Luis Felipe Bravo Mena.

“The Committee for Migrant Action in Dallas will be the first of many that will be opened in the United States and will have as its objective that compatriots can join the PAN directly, quickly and easily, only with their voter ID issued abroad, as well how to connect to create networks and communities of reflection and action on the different challenges that Mexicans face in Mexico and in the United States,” explained Cortés.

In the inauguration of the first Blue Committee, leaders related to the PAN from various states of the American Union, who are from states such as Mexico City, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Zacatecas and Michoacán, will participate.

The objective of the party is to open more committees in the cities where the largest number of Mexican migrants have been registered, the main ones being Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, California and New York.

“We come to invite our migrant brothers so that directly and indirectly be a factor of change to correct and change the course of Mexico, to build networks and communities of reflection and action, to convince them and seek to convince their families and friends of the need for all Mexicans to do something from our country and from the United States,” concluded Marko Cortés.
