Wanted 15 minutes of airtime Joko Winterscheidt (44) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (39) stole their home broadcaster again on Tuesday evening. But the spectacle almost started without her. The fact that they had already been wired for this only made Winterscheidt suspicious. His TV buddy, on the other hand, remained completely calm. Klaas even understood the Blitz maneuver. “It’s exciting for people to see what’s going on behind the scenes.”
The elevator went all the way up. Two chairs were provided for the main actors. Joko joked: “It’s a bit like Germany’s next top model.” At that point, there were still 50 minutes until the show. The duo quickly spoke their text into the cell phone camera. Once the video was in the can, things would go downhill again for the boys.

He didn’t trust the shaky construction. So Klaas marched alone to the show. The first task was lost. At least Joko has been freed in the meantime and the show could finally really start.
The dream team then won five games in a row, earning five additional tries in the final match. It was there, of all places, that the streak of bad luck struck.
