Paola Longoria gets her sixth gold at the Central American Games

MEXICO CITY (apro).- Paola Longoria continues to add gold to her career, as the Mexican racquetball player won the gold medal in the individual category, as well as in mixed doubles with Eduardo Portillo, the victories occurred this Thursday, June 29 at the Games Central American and Caribbean San Salvador 2023.

The native of San Luis Potosí met Guatemalan Ana Martínez in the final, whom she beat 3-1. Longoria lost the first set 6-11, however she rallied; she won 11-8 the second, 11-5 the third, and 11-4 the fourth.

The last gold medal of the day for Longoria was achieved together with Eduardo Portillo in mixed doubles, for which the Mexican adds six gold medals obtained in the Central American and Caribbean Games to her record.
