Juarez City.- The Directorate of Parks and Gardens invites Juarez residents to participate in a Saturday volunteer day at the El Chamizal nursery on April 22 to commemorate World Earth Day.

The director of the unit, Daniel Iván Zamarrón Saldaña, explained that the objective is that more people can collaborate in the voluntary work that is carried out in the nursery, since it is the weekend.

He added that the space where the volunteering takes place is a closed and pleasant area for those who participate.

“They are very simple work situations, it is suitable for young people, children, the elderly or anyone who can participate to collaborate, it is a very positive dynamic and has two objectives, to generate awareness among the people who carry out the work and on the other hand advance in the actions to improve the nursery”, said Zamarrón.

The official mentioned that no registration is needed to participate, and the citizen who attends can collaborate for as many hours as they wish.

The day will be Saturday April 22 from 9:00 in the morning to 1:00 in the afternoon.

“In general terms, we have material and tools, but if someone wants to bring a shovel or rake, it’s okay, we recommend that they bring work gloves, a hat, and sunscreen,” he said.
