Paula Gustavsson was the company Happylife’s first customer and initially wanted help with cleaning certain surfaces in her home. After a while she got in touch and asked if any of the students who worked there could speak Polish. Then she came into contact with 22-year-old Melissa Tabari.

– I help Paula with her studies in Polish and then we talk about everyday life, says Melissa Tabari.

Muhib Lafta, the company’s CEO, believes that they can be seen as a complement to the home service.

– You can get help fixing things at home, learn to use a computer, or just go for walks.

The company’s income comes largely from the elderly who use the service, but in the future they hope to be able to cooperate with the municipality so that more people can take advantage of the service for free.

Paula Gustavsson does not use the service because of loneliness, but believes that she gets a lot out of Melissa Tabari coming to her home twice a month.

In the video, you can follow along as Paula Gustavsson and Melissa Tabari help each other with the polish.
