For our cover story, we took a detailed look at the long-awaited Lords of the Fallen reboot for the first time. We weren’t able to collect our own impressions of the game, but we did chat extensively with the new developers of the Soulslike new edition. And – we can tell you this much already – a lot will change, even if the name stays the same. We were able to play Atlas Fallen ourselves, the new action RPG from the previous Lords developers – and were quite impressed. You can also read in this issue what we experienced in the sandy fantasy world.

There are a few real highlights in the tests this time. Above all, we fought and puzzled our way through Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – you can read on a total of eight pages what Cal Kestis’ second adventure can do and why the technology is still causing problems. The verdict on Dead Island 2 is also surprisingly good – which is not so self-evident after the long history of postponements and developer changes. Otherwise, we also took a look at the technically stuttering The Last of Us: Part 1 and take a look at Everspace 2, fresh out of Early Access. You can read all that and much more in this issue!
