In episode 18 of the PC Games Podcast we once again have three completely different topics at the start. We’ll start with Hi-Fi Rush’s shadow drop. Tango Gameworks’ title came out of nowhere and combines action and rhythm game elements in a cool way. Maci and Carlo therefore take care of this surprise. Afterwards, Maci talks to colleague David about the new SpongeBob adventure The Cosmic Shake. After all, David isn’t just a nut, but also a huge SquarePants fan and accordingly has a lot to say about the title. The two podcasters also get to the bottom of the question of whether The Cosmic Shake is just great fan service or a good game in general. At the end of the podcast it gets scary and brutal because Katha and Chris take over. The two chat at length about the remake of the survival horror cult hit Dead Space. Among other things, they discuss why EA’s title is still an outstanding game today and whether a remake of this almost 15-year-old game would have been really necessary.
