The POUT is a normative instrument that organizes the territory for sustainable development and the good coexistence of the population and that spatially concretizes economic, social, cultural, environmental policies, objectives and territorial strategies of the Municipal Development Plan and the vision of sustainability.
with the poutsIt seeks to guarantee the development of the territory considering the social, economic and biodiversity conservation needs of the place. In addition, it intends to strengthen the capacity of the municipality in terms of territorial planning, environmental governance and sustainable development.
The POUT was developed with the leadership of the City of Philadelphia, in a participatory manner with the citizens and with the support of the Alliance for Sustainable Development project, financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
