Philadelphia sports teams donate $50,000 for daughter of I-95 collapse fatality

Philadelphia sports teamssuch as the Flyers, Eagles, Phillies, 76ers and the Union made a substantial donation to the relief fund for the families of the driver killed in the collapse of I-95 on June 11.

This is $50,000 to alleviate the care and studies of the victim’s daughter, Nathan Moody, who lost her life when the fuel truck she was driving under the bridge of the busy highway exploded.

Moody’s cause of death was listed by investigators as accidental.

Characters from the City of Brotherly Love sports teams were the ones who rode a fire truck, first hand, through the temporary lanes of I-95 that opened Thursday to regulate traffic to and from Philadelphia.

These are three northbound lanes and three southbound lanes that were filled with a recyclable glass material.
