A new ad for PlayStation seems to have thrown a confusing reference to a possible Uncharted 5or whatever the next Uncharted game might be called.
You see, we’re saying that because of the new ad you launched today, sony released a new live-action PS5 ad. Of course, this announcement highlights new releases like God of War Ragnarok and Gran Turismo 7. That being said, there seems to be a scene that highlights Uncharted, but not just any Uncharted, but what could be the next installment.

At the end of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s Endthere is a lot of jokes and it is implied that the daughter of Nathan Drake will be the lead in the series going forward, if it were to continue, with Nathan Drake finally settled and retired from killing 15,000 people in search of hidden treasures and lost cities.
And this detail is important because there is a part of the aforementioned trailer that looks like a book in the style of Uncharted, but it is not a character with the appearance of Nathan Drake, but rather, it looks like the silhouette of a young woman, where there is also a scene separate related where the woman blows the dust from the artifact.
All the shots in the trailer are immediately recognizable, except for this one. In other words, you can pin any other shot to a recently released game, except this one, which suggests it’s a tease for a future, unannounced game. To this end, the scene looks like a textbook Uncharted minus Nathan Drake, but as noted, if the series continues, it’s unlikely it’ll star Nathan Drake, so it makes sense.
Now, rumors have circulated in networks that affirm that Uncharted it will return, but not via Naughty Dog, who have more or less confirmed in the past that they are done with the series. In other words, assuming this mystery game is a new Uncharted tease, don’t expect it to be a game of Naughty Dog.
And right now, this is the only thing keeping many from getting too excited. Naughty Dog is one of the best in the industry and Uncharted is their series. A new installment from someone else is likely to be an inevitable downgrade, as was Uncharted: Golden Abyss, which was a very solid game, and a step down from the main series in terms of quality.
Unfortunately, for now, all we have is speculation, but if PlayStation is teasing a new Uncharted game, we might assume a real reveal isn’t too far off.
