In Herne, young people violently robbed an eight-year-old on a playground. They fled in the direction of the sports park in Eickel.

According to the current state of knowledge of the police, it was observed eight year old boy from Herne at around 4.15 p.m. on a playground at Heisterkamp when two unidentified young people appeared. The duo suddenly grabbed the boy and snatched him away forcibly small change from his jacket pocket, police said. The two then fled in the direction of Heisterkamp/Sportpark. Fortunately, the eight-year-old was unharmed, according to police.

The two suspected boys are described as between 12 and 15 years old. One of the two is said to have worn red outerwear, the other black outerwear. The Herner Regional Commissariat (KK 35) asks witnesses to call 0234 909-8505 or -4441 (criminal police station).
