A new poll has ranked the 50 most popular Pokémon from Pokémon Scarlet/Violet. Although the poll only focuses on the Japanese audience, it’s still interesting to see which of the new faces in the series turn out to be favorites.
The top three are all made up of new Pokemon added in Scarlet and Violet. In third place is Meowscarada, the final evolution of the grass starter Sprigatito. Number two is Clodsire, the evolution of Paldean Wooper, and the top spot is held by Tinkaton, a Fairy/Steel type.
A few old favorites also made it into the top 50, but otherwise, it looks like Pokemon’s ninth generation got the fans’ love. Although Pokémon Scarlet/Violet received some criticism for lackluster performance at launch, recent titles have nevertheless been successful.
