Beim Cloud Native Festival CloudLand 2023 everything revolves around interactive togetherness from June 20th to 23rd in Phantasialand (Brühl). The organization team around the German-speaking Cloud Native Community of the DOAG has a varied and multifaceted programme compiled – also beyond classic conference presentations. In the line-up of the Cloud Native Festival, participants can expect well over 200 “program” items on the four subject areas of container & cloud technologies, microservices & domain-driven design, DevOps & methodology and CI/CD & automation. Until May 9th, all interested parties have the opportunity to be there at a reduced early bird price.

The four-day festival promises hundreds of highlights from CloudCamp (an all-day bar camp) to start with numerous workshops, hands-ons and challenges through to playful interludes such as this AWS GameDay. Among the recommendations that are particularly close to the hearts of the program advisory boards are workshops on important tools and processes in the Kubernetes universe. “From Zero to Hero – Best Practices aus cloud-native GitOps-Projekten” and “Create your Pipeline – A GitOps Workshop with Kubernetes and Flux” are just two examples of interactive tutorials that provide practical know-how in cloud-native projects.

In the Cloud Native Customer Stories not only give companies insights into their transformation journey, but also answer questions on site. Michael Schmidt, for example, lets interested parties understand how DATEV made the change to a cloud-native company and Dr. Gualter Baptista from Deutsche Bahn reports how the group is preparing for the future through targeted platform engineering.

During the festival, Stefan Latuski, CEO of the IT system house of the Federal Employment Agency, also spoke personally about how an authority masters the cloud journey and how recruiting new specialists can succeed in times of the “war for talent”. Together with his wife Jennifer Latuski, Senior Consultant at Adesso, In a keynote he reveals what connects agile transformation and wedding vows.

“Agile transformation and wedding vows – why a ‘Yes, I want’ is not enough” – Stefan Latuski, CEO of the IT system house of the Federal Employment Agency, and his wife Jennifer, Senior Consultant at Adesso, invite you to the keynote speech in CloudLand 2023.
